Reflection on Final Content

Are there any areas of the presentation you would like to give any more detail on?

One area that I think we should have gone in to depth with our presentation was explaining the plot of our film. I don't think the idea was clearly explained and this lead to many questions being asked at the end of our pitch. However, due to the fact that we took questions at the end of our pitch, it allowed us to explain the parts that the audience didn't understand better.  I think the reason behind us not being able to explain the idea in depth at first was partly to do the with the fact that we were nervous, however our nerves settled as we went along the powerpoint.
What did your audience identify as the strengths of you short film idea?
A strength that the audience identified as part of our short film was bringing the genre of comedy forward. At the end of the pitch me and my partner asked the audience if they think we have come up with a good way to bring the genre forward. They replied by saying that having two characters in the story line and the story line itself does support the genre.

What did your audience identify as areas for improvement?

Our audience identified our props as an area for improvement. This is because we said that we were going to use fake marijuana. This led to the viewers saying that it could be a risk having drugs in our short film as it will be filmed in a park where police patroling regularly.

What changes will you make to your short film concept based on the feedback you received?

The changes that I will be making to my concept is just one which is at the beginning of the film. Originally, I planned for the dog to be seen walking with its owner. However, now I have decided that the dog will be a surprise element as I think it will make the film funnier for the viewers.
