This week was just hardcore editing which mean that are main objective was to just get all the footage together, we will try our best to finish this week hopefully, but we cannot say for sure due to the amount of work left. We need to go out and get more establishing shots to show the scenery, we have a rough edit now but we are trying to get the new footage and just edit.
The challenge which we faced this week was managing time due to the fact we had exams and also had to revise for them which meant our focus being elsewhere, this meant us needing to speed up the process of filming the remainder shots. However, me and my partner planned the week according to the time we had left. This meant giving a certain amount of time to filming and a certain amount of time to editing the film. Our teacher had decided to give us a extra time due to them being busy and not having the time to check our work, this meant us having a change of deadline We still have a little more to do, so I can't say that we are completely finished so the extension benefited us in many ways. Another challenge we faced was the fact that we had forgotten a memory card on the day of re-filming this meant us not being able to film, however we were very lucky as one of our friends had a memory card which we could use and then upload it and give it back to the.
Next week we have slight work to do, me and my partner plan to finish after adding the effect and filters, this will make it look a lot more better. The performance and effort from the actors has been amazing so far, this is reflected in the footage we saw while editing Both actors have shown a lot of effort towards the film, this has allowed us to create a high standard short film, also the effort has been show as they have agreed to coming out again to re-shoot specific shots . Also the director has really shown his leadership due to the fact that he has been telling me what to do while editing and explaining how he wants the editing at times.
